We were recently in St. Louis shooting an XPEL Dealer Spotlight for one of our local installers, Clear Auto Bra. While shooting the spotlight, we decided to keep the cameras rolling and captured amazing installation videos of the cars they had in their shop. One of those great cars is this beautiful 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500.

Do you remember the Sesame Street tune, “One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn’t belong”? In this instance, a ’67 featuring a 5.4 Liter Supercharged V8 completely belongs. You may be wondering what a big, modern, supercharged motor is doing in an old classic vehicle? The owner had a few “minor” modifications done, and boy, does she purr.

After this exquisite build was complete with the beautiful new motor and amazing paint job, they took her straight to Mark and his team at Clear Auto Bra. Over the course of a few days, they fully wrapped this American Muscle with XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing paint protection film, aka Clear Bra. Every panel on this classic car is now protected for the road, helping keep it free from rock chips, bug damage and much more.

While this may not be the “Eleanor” Mustang made famous by the movie, Gone In 60 Seconds, it’s prepared for anything the streets are ready to throw at it with its new second skin made of clear bra.
